Rather than shipping hundreds of pounds of lumber and oversized steel across the country, we intentionally designed the system around a few common building materials that are readily available almost everywhere.

You'll purchase locally:

• Pressure-treated lumber for the base frame

• Standard 50" x 16' cattle panels

• Materials for your raised garden beds, if desired

Because these items are available at virtually every lumber yard, farm supply, or home improvement store, buying them locally or using reclaimed materials is less expensive, and allows you to select exactly what you want.

The beautiful cedar front arrives unfinished, giving you complete control over its appearance. Leave it natural and let it weather to a soft silver-gray, apply a clear sealer to preserve the rich cedar tones, enhance the grain with your favorite stain, or paint it to complement your home, barn, or other outbuildings.

The raised garden beds are both optional and customizable. Build them from pressure-treated lumber for an economical, long-lasting solution, choose naturally durable cedar, install maintenance-free composite boards, or create a truly distinctive look with stone, brick, galvanized steel, or reclaimed materials.
